Mylan, a manufacturer of generic and specialty pharmaceuticals, is one of the largest companies of its kind in the world, but it is hardly alone. It must fight to get its more than 1,400 products in the hands of over 10,000 independent pharmacists, and has to do so without the ability to brand their own products.


Enginess helped develop a program that leverages web technology to transform the company from simply a generic drug manufacturer to a marketing and customer engagement juggernaut. Enginess built the Mylan Health Coach e-health consumer portal that provides members of the Mylan Health Coach program with a personalized digital experience, offering resources and solutions that support and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The site is fully optimized for mobile devices, tablets and smartphones and incorporates a number of custom applications including comprehensive assessment forms, a BMI calculator, an activity tracker, a blood pressure and blood sugar tracking app, an interactive, personalized dashboard with charts and graphs, and includes recipe recommendations, Google maps integration (pharmacy locator with location-based services), Social media integration, a permission based login for dietitians and members, and an appointment setter and reminder.
